THIS IS MY NEIGHBORHOOD

I made my first trip to South Carolina 20 some years ago. Leaving a dreary winter in late March in Kansas City, I arrived in Charleston to find Spring in all its magnificent glory. I was hooked and made many more such trips over the years. I never dreamed I would become a South Carolinian, but through a friend was introduced to Aiken. My husband and I purchased a lot, built a house and moved here in 2002. We feel so fortunate we took that leap. We are so happy with Aiken and all it has to offer. In Kansas City, my career was at Halls, a fine upscale specialty store on the Country Club Plaza. I built a loyal customer base over the years with both corporate and individuals. I was very successful because I listened to my customers and focused on their wants and needs as well as providing the best of customer service. I was far more interested in pleasing my clients than in just making a sale. I bring this same philosophy to my real estate career. I started as a receptionist with Eulalie Salley in 2003 becoming  a realtor in 2005. It was my good fortune to become Deirdre's assistant in October of 2005. We share the same philosophy about real estate and our clients so it is a true pleasure being a part of the team. I retired as a Realtor but remain a part of the team as an administrative assistant.
